Product Overview

SKJ1, 2 Series low-voltage reactive power compensation assemblies is mainly used in power distribution system with rated frequency of 50-60Hz,rated voltage of 400-690V to rise up the power factor and reduce the power loss of transmission line to improve the power quality. This series low-voltage reactive power compensation assemblies takes the intelligent reactive power compensation controller as its core to put on or cut off the capacitor banks automatically according to power factor of network, to ensure the power net work running in higher power factor. If there are much harmonic in LV power network which may damage the power transformer or operation of other electric equipments, adopting the capacitors which are in series with reators can absorb the harmonic efficiently and improve the wave form of voltage and suppress the inrush transient current rising by putting on capacitors, therefore to protect the capacitors and safety operation of power equicment.

Rated compensation capacity of one cubicle:SKJ1:60~ 390kvar;SKJ2:60~300kvar

Sampling current : 1A or 5A

Measuring error: Voltage : + 0.5%, Current: + 1.0%, Reactive power: + 1.0%

Connection of capacitors : "▲","Y" or "Ⅲ"

Working mode: Automatical cycle putting on and cutting off, Coding putting on and cutting off 

Compensation mode: Three phases, separate phase and mixing mode(three phases and single phase mixing compensation)

Dynamic respone time : <100ms, > 10s adjustable

Max allowed current : Continuous service at below 1.3 times of rated current (In)

Control circuit number : 1~12


Switch component:

a. Contactor special for capacitors

b. Contactless switch:

SCR (silicon controlled rectifier):No inrush current when putting on, fast dynamic compensation;

Complex switch (consists of SCR and relays): No inrush current when putting on and reducing power loss of SCR.

Series reactor:

a.Without series reactor : Using in the power system where the short circuit capacity and compensation capacity needed are not too big and the harmonics can be negligible.

b.With series reactor : limiting the inrush current (peak over current) caused by switching of switch to 50 In and below (100 In and below as stipulated in GB/T 12747 standard).

c.Series reactor with harmonic suppressed function(Non tuned filter):

Reactor with 7% reactance ratio(for the system where there are comparatively large fifth harmonic and upper);

Reactor with 14% reactance ratio(for the system where there are comparatively large third harmonic and upper)

Note : eries with reactor having other reactance retio is avialable by negotiating

d.Series reactor with filtering function(Tuned filter), the 80% ~ 90% each harmonic currents in power system can be filtered.
